Therapy that actually moves something.
Most people I work with already have insight. They know their patterns, they understand their history. What’s missing is the bridge between what they know and what they actually feel and do.
This is where we work.
My approach
I’m a psychotherapist offering integrative, in-depth therapy for people who are ready for change, even if they’re unsure where or how to begin. You don’t need to have everything figured out to start.
My approach works on both levels at once. We’ll think together about what’s happening: the patterns, the history, the meaning you’ve made of things. At the same time we pay close attention to what’s happening in your body as we do that. Often it’s the moment those two things connect that something genuinely shifts.
I draw on EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Hakomi. These are approaches that work with the nervous system and the body alongside the thinking mind, not instead of it.
This is active, engaged therapy. I won’t just listen and nod.
What I can help with
Many of my clients come with one or more of the following. This isn’t a complete list, so if something feels relevant but isn’t here, please get in touch.
Trauma & PTSD
Including complex or developmental trauma, the kind that other therapy hasn’t quite touched. We work at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
Relationships
With others and with yourself. The patterns that repeat, the closeness that feels unsafe, the self-criticism that won’t quieten. I also support couples to explore communication, understanding, and how you relate to each other.
Anxiety & depression
Not just managing symptoms but understanding what underlies them and beginning to shift the patterns that keep them in place.
A sense something needs to change
Even if you can’t quite name what. Sometimes that’s the most honest place to start.
Specialist areas
Two areas I work with in particular depth, with specialist training and significant experience in each.
Trauma therapy
EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma that other approaches haven’t shifted, including complex, developmental, and relational trauma.
